Fotia-The Greek Bonfire, has been bellydancing since 2004 and dances as often as possible. Previously she has studied other forms of dance, including salsa, line dancing and a smatter of hip hop, African and samba, but then she fell madly in love with bellydancing and has been hooked every since. She has studied under many instructors in the Chicagoland area, as well as other instructors from around the world. In addition, Fotia is pursuing the study of Greek dance. She credits her style to her cosmopolitan training. In addition, Fotia is also studying Polynesian dance is now a member of a the Heart of Hawaii Hula Company, Polynesian dance troupe in the Chicago area.
Troupe Diosa
Together with Laura, Fotia is part of Troupe Diosa, which performs traditional style bellydance. They have performed at many functions and parties for many years.
