Scarlett Sometime - Bands

The genesis of Scarlett Sometime began with Greg Viola and Mike Coladonato, who played keyboards and drums respectively in The Fabulous 49ers at various public venues, private parties, and corporate functions from 2003 to 2011. While the band was very successful, getting multi-year repeat engagements and referrals, Mike and Greg decided to split off a band that went beyond typical classic rock material.

Another differentiator they wanted was for the vocals to be driven by two female vocalists. This idea was an extension of the configuration of Greg's corporate band (Deloitte's Unrestricted Entity), which was successful enough to carry them to be finalists in the Fortune Magazine Battle of the Corporate Bands competition at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland in 2007 and 2010.

Sandra Giraud was the perfect fit to drive those vocals, joining the team in 2012. Sandra had been a successful lead singer and front for 4 bands over the last 20+ years - two wedding bands and two rock & roll bands. With a four octave range, singing everything from R&B to opera and rock & roll, Sandra was a top 10 finalist in 2 national karaoke contests. In one of those contests, she competed against the top five out of tens of thousands of contestants, nationwide, live on Good Morning America.

Tom Walsh joined the band in early 2014 as lead guitarist. After playing throughout the Philadelphia Tri-State area in "hard rock" and "classic rock,"bands, Tom was ready to expand into Scarlett Sometime's broad array of R&B, rock & roll dance music, and modern rock/pop genres. Tom also devotes time as lead guitarist for musicals performed solely for the benefit of providing pro bono legal services to those in the community who cannot otherwise afford legal representation. Tom has played at a variety of local venues, including Delaware's Queen Theatre and Schwartz Center for the Arts.

Rounding out the team are the two most recent additions, Tim Silk on bass, and Tiffany Yeager on vocals. Tim has played the region for the last 20 years from the Poconos thru Cape May, and Tiffany started singing with a traveling group called The Spurrlows, who were retained by Chrysler Corporation to represent Chrysler in over 3,000 concerts worldwide.Group Members

Comments from clients:

"Scarlett Sometime played for our charity event in October and they were absolutely phenomenal! Not only do they put on a fantastic, crowd moving show but also they allowed the other bands playing to use their equipment for the whole weekend. Greg, who is on the Keys, Guitar, Sax and Harp, was there the entire weekend to help with the setup and the flow of the three-day event. He drove back and forth for three days countless times a day to adjust the sound to each bands liking. They make great music and their hearts are in the right place. " Brittany S

"Mike and Scarlet Sometime,
The Chester County Hospitals wants to thank you for providing a GREAT, fun filled night for our wounded warrior project. It was a great event and everyone danced all night long. We had a great time and we were able to honor our wounded warriors at the same time. You all sang your hearts out right to the very last song where she belted out…….. Looking forward to working with you again!" - Jacqueline F
