I have lived in Wilmington since 1997. Been in sales and worked with the public all my life. I have always stressed customer service first. I have dreamed about having a ice cream truck for the past 2 years. A little scared about taking the first step, actually doing it, and taking on the risk of a small business owner. My love for ice cream and children inspired me into taking the step. Started Ice Cream Truck in May 2011. My grandson calls me Granny Niece so hence the name of the business. Hope to grow and bring smiles to everyone I come in contact with. Honk if you see me on the road!!

We love Denise and Granny Niece's Ice Cream truck! We have a FUNdraiser at our school, called "Change for Change" in which students are encouraged to bring in change from home, we tell them to clean out the couches, break their piggy banks and raid their parents drawers (with permission first, of course!). The class that brings in the most change wins either a pizza party or Granny Niece's Ice Cream truck and hands down Granny always wins! This year we had a tie and two classes got ice $950, which goes towards our PTA Green Committee recycling program.
