Born in Lima, Peru Samantha Diaz began her career studying Peruvian Folk Dance and theater at the “Escuela de Bellas Artes”, where known actor Ramon Garcia was her instructor for many years. She continued her artistic training in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Samba and Flamenco at “Stage Dance Center” instructed by Peruvian choreographer Ernesto Pacheco.
In 2002 she was eager to continue her dance career in the United States. She began by auditioning to MTV’s Wade Robson’s Project where she was placed as a finalist. That same year, she auditioned for the legendary night at “The Apollo Theater”. She won first place with a Belly Dance Hip-Hop fusion piece in the Amateur night contest becoming a crowd favorite.
Shortly after, she founded Dance Soul Company. A dance company specialized in world dance such as: Belly Dance, Samba, Flamenco, Bollywood, Salsa, Cabaret and Hip-Hop. A company
that has graced extravagant stages performing for the Bollywood Music Awards. Samantha is a well known dancer in the Indian community, she is sought by the largest South Asian bridal expo, the recipient of multiple certificates of appreciation & honors.
Diaz lends her talents to numerous charity events for the United Nations. Certified from New York's leading dance school at Broadway Dance Center, she currently teaches in NYC/worldwide & offers private sessions in addition to performing at exclusive clubs & concert halls throughout New York City. This persistent career path granted several television appearances like for CW11 news, TLC’s reality series “Outrageous Kids Parties” and FashionTV.
Samantha has taken her talent for the world re known Dance Asia at The Belly Dance Conference in Ningbo, China. She toured as a master teacher in 14 cities in China. Where she taught daily workshops and performed in a stage where only the best belly dancers in the world have performed. She also traveled to Ukraine, being the first belly dance (snake charmer) choreographer featured at the TV Show Season 6 "So You Think you can dance" Ukraine and recently being the Director for the Global Dance competitions for "Dance For Unity" in Shanghai China August 2015
Samantha Diaz is still pursuing the development of her artistry and Dance Soul Company’s future. Furthermore, she is growing as a costume, shoe and accessory designer creating numerous designs for women worldwide.

Samantha Diaz - World Fusion Style (Essence of Belly Dance, Flamenco, Latin, Bollywood, Cabaret and Hip-hop)Students will learn choreography that emphasizes on technique essential to belly dancing as well as improvisation. The isolation taught in this class will help you create complex movements with your body. An important factor in belly dancing is a drum solo that will be broken down with the movements learned in class such as the isolations, across the floor movement, floor work, shimmy and more ! This class will allow the student to explore a fusion of movements in belly dancing that will create confidence as a this graceful dance allows your body to express yourself and release energy.
