As long as I can remember, I have loved flowers. I remember creating bouquets from the flowers in my mother’s garden to give to my teachers, family and friends. It seemed a logical leap to study floral designs and continue my floral love affair.

When Hurricane Irene threatened to destroy my daughter’s wedding, we were forced to change our plans at a moment’s notice, but how lucky for us that we were in the capable hands of Anita from Floral Designs by Nina. Not only was she prepared to have the flowers ready a day earlier than originally ordered but she was willing to deliver them early Saturday morning from Stony Brook, Long Island to Brooklyn, in the rain! And how stunning those floral arrangements were; they looked as fresh and natural as if she had just brought them in newly cut from the garden. The bouquets and table arrangements were as sprightly and graceful as nature had made them, and everyone commented on how beautiful they were.
We feel we were very fortunate to have our flowers provided by Floral Designs by Nina. She helped to save my daughter’s wedding day and brought some sunshine into what could have been a soggy disaster! Thank you for your amazing work; we will always remember what you did for us!
