Why is it tacky? If that's her theme, why not have a belly dancer? I think it sounds pretty cool. Belly dancers are great entertainment! The old folks will love it so I I say go for it!

I completely agree! You can always contact restaurants in your area to find out where to get the best dancers. There are two schools in the San Francisco Bay Area that specialize in this sort of of them in mine. :-)
