Whether it's a country club or a banquet hall, the most important thing to consider is if it fits to your concept of a dream wedding. There are a lot of country clubs and banquet halls in reception venues in Miami that you can choose from. All you need to do is find out which one best fits to your preferences.
I think a country club will be more better as it will give you the feeling of an intimate wedding. Even I wanted a country club wedding but due to our long guests list we couldn't get a suitable place and had to get married here in Florida(The Addison, ). Banquet hall is better if you have a large guest list.

The main thing to consider when looking at Venues is the price verses their services. Some you have to use all their Vendors or they are included in the price and some you can hire who ever you want.
Pros and cons on that are.
When you can choose and hire who ever you want it can be much cheaper, but takes much more time and energy on your part. With all inclusive venues you pay for that convenience. They are only going to work with quality people because if some thing isn't great it is going to reflect on them. Not to mention if they are handling every thing, there is less lost in translation. Keep in mind they do this all the time.
I service a venue where you have to use all of their people, they are always organized and every thing goes off with out a hitch. When the Bride is left to do all the organizing some things can be forgotten. I am a wedding cake decorator. Nothing makes me more angry than to arrive to a hall at my agreed upon delivery time. To find out I'm locked out with no one to be found, on a hot day, with a wedding cake potentially melting away in the delivery van.
