It's a nice day for a black wedding

So I wear all black almost every day of my life. I just think it is so classy, simple, and stylish. that being said, I don't feel like my wedding day should be any different.

When i started dress shopping, I had a lot of criticisms about my color choice. My mother and grandmother were obviously quick to tell me that I would regret not wearing white, but to be honest, I didn't feel like myself in a white wedding dress.

Now, I am not completely set on wearing a black wedding gown, I just know that I don't want to wear white. I have been looking at different prints and think If I could combine a white dress with a black floral print I would make everyone happy. Has anyone gone with a non-traditional dress? And could you point me in the right direction of different designers/shops that can meet my non-traditional needs?
