Planning my Bali wedding

Join us/Log in to post!

Hi all! Me and my partner are planning a Bali wedding and we still deciding on a planner and all that comes with it. Coincidentally, we came across this IG page of Varawedding and they seem to be offering some really amazing promos with vendors during a webinar on 20th June. I thought I share it for anyone who is also having a Bali wedding in the future :)
Stay safe everyone!
Thanks for sharing this, Darwin — always nice when someone passes along a lead that could help other couples. Bali is such a dream location for a wedding, and having a good planner really makes or breaks the experience there, especially if you're planning from abroad.

A few things worth keeping in mind while you're comparing planners:

Ask about their vendor network specifically. The best Bali planners have established relationships with local florists, caterers, photographers, and venues — that's often where the real value (and the better pricing) comes from, more than the planner's own fee.

Check how they handle time zones and communication. If you're not in Bali, response times and clarity matter a lot. Ask what their typical turnaround is and how they run meetings.

Get everything in writing. Package inclusions, what's extra, payment schedules, cancellation terms — especially for destination weddings where deposits tend to be larger.

Ask for recent, real weddings they've done — not just styled shoots or portfolio highlights. Ideally, ask to speak with a past couple or two.

Webinar promos can be genuinely good, but read the fine print — sometimes the discount is tied to booking within a certain window or committing to specific vendors. Worth knowing before you get excited.

Since your post is from a while back, I'm curious — did you end up going with Varawedding, or find another planner you'd recommend? If you're still in the process, happy to share more thoughts on what to look for.
