We contacted the wholesale wedding cake supplier since we needed small cake and cupcakes in bulk for offering to our guests. There are many service providers like this like I hope this might help.

Tom, any thing goes now with wedding cakes. Make it your own. I did a wedding cake a couple of weeks ago with a fishing theme. Every thing was made of sugar and totally edible fishing lures, floats, spinners, hooks, swivels and flies. I wish I could attach a picture here, but it doesn't have that option.
